Why won’t he leave me alone?

As I was reading this week’s scripture In Matthew chapter 4 it reminded me just how ruthless Satan

really is. In chapter 4:1-3 we read; 4 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.  3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

We must always remember that Satan already has the world. Where do you think he going to put most of his attention to? Me, You, or The Lord’s Church? If he was so bold to tempt our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you and I are absolute 1A targets. Satan is a master at wanting us to get sidetracked so the best answer to fighting Satan is to be as strong in Christ as you can be. Here are Some helpful hints.

1. Make sure you read your bible every day before you start your day or you end your day or better yet both!

2. Then pray! God keep me strong and don’t allow Satan to weaken me in any way.

3. It’s one thing to pray now we must execute!

4. What are we all doing to make sure we are strong in the faith as individuals and as a Church.

Take note from the animal kingdom too. I was watching the animal planet channel the other day and show featured a pack of lions hunting other animals. The announcer quietly spoke:

“Watch the lion, how sneaky he is, he will blend in with the brush. Then he watches for the weakest, most vulnerable.”
